Singer Aaron Carter passed away on Saturday at his California home, according to a statement from his agent.
According to a source close to the family, Aaron Carter, the younger brother of Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys and a former child pop performer, has died. He was 34.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s responded to a plea for assistance at Carter’s Lancaster, California home on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. A dead body was discovered at the location at local time, a department spokesperson told CNN.
“It is with great regret to confirm Aaron Carter was found unresponsive this a.m. in his home in Palmdale, CA,” his rep revealed to Page Six. “The family has been notified and will be flying out to Los Angeles. Aaron worked very hard towards the end of his life in recovery, to be a good father and to make amends with his family.”
He was allegedly discovered dead in his bathtub, according to the source. However, the authorities made no reference to a likely cause of death.
At around 11 a.m., police were reportedly called to the location. after getting a call that man had drowned.

Detectives are looking into the death as a homicide, according to TMZ, but the outlet was informed that this is standard practice.
Carter, Nick Carter’s brother from the immensely successful Backstreet Boys, first gained notoriety as a pop artist in the 1990s. In 1997, he put out his debut studio album under his own name.
In 2000, he put out “Aaron’s Party (Come Get It),” which was triple platinum. The top hits “I Want Candy” and “That’s How I Beat Shaq” were included.
In addition, Aaron Carter was well-known for his parts in the television series “Lizzie McGuire” on the Disney Channel. Alon with “7th Heaven,” which made its debut on the WB Television Network. Coming out
The musician received an outpouring of love and support from his fans and other celebrities after coming out as bisexual in 2017.
“There’s something I’d like to say that I feel is important for myself and my identity that has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life,” Carter said on Twitter. “This doesn’t bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off me.”
He continued by saying that he “started to find boys and girls attractive” when he was about 13 years old.
“There were years that went by that I thought about it, but it wasn’t until I was 17-year-old, after a few relationships with girls, I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with.”

Talking about Mental Health
In a 2019 “The Doctors” episode, the singer talked openly about his struggles. He talked about mental health such as schizophrenia, multiple personality disorder, manic depression, and severe anxiety.
In one clip posted on the show’s Facebook page, Carter referred to a plastic bag containing numerous medication bottles as “my reality”.
And remarked, “This is my reality.”
Additionally, In 2017, Carter and his then-girlfriend Madison Parker were traveling through Habersham County when they were stopped in Georgia on suspicion of DUI and marijuana possession.
According to a CNN article, the musician later said in an interview that he doesn’t drink and denied using drugs.
He declared, “I don’t need help. What I need is for people to understand that I’m a human being and that I make mistakes just like every other person in this world, but I would never risk my life or the life of my girlfriend”
In order to attempt and reclaim custody of his son, Prince, who is now 11 months old, the “Fool’s Gold” singer recently disclosed that he had “voluntarily” gone into an outpatient program of a treatment facility.
In November 2021, Aaron and his on-again, off-again fiancée Melanie Martin welcomed their first child.

The pop star previously acknowledged taking Xanax as part of a “regimented medication” strategy to keep him “clean from huffing dust” and that he was looking for a treatment to manage “triggers” that made him want to smoke marijuana.
As per TMZ, Police stopped Aaron on account of a possible DUI a few days ago. However, its not the first time he had run into issues with the law.
Violence Charges
Aaron had just made news for his poisonous relationship with Martin as well. Occasionally, both parties have leveled accusations of abuse against one another.

The model claimed earlier this year that the father of her child had broken three of her ribs during an argument. Aaron, though, refuted their assertions.
Martin subsequently claimed on Instagram that she made up the “untrue” allegations since she was experiencing postpartum depression at the time.
The influential person has not yet commented on Aaron’s passing.
