On the 7th of December, 1987, in Tampa, Florida, Aaron Carter was given the name Aaron Charles Carter.

Carter was raised with older brother Nick Carter, older sisters Leslie and BJ, and twin sister Angel. Robert and Jane, his parents, ran a retirement home.

Leslie died of a heroin overdose in 2012; two weeks before her death, Aaron offered to pay for her to go to rehab. Aaron began his music career at an early age, and his parents worked as his managers. He received tutoring while traveling and studying at the Ruskin School and the Frank D. Early Career

Aaron Carter began his professional career as the primary vocalist of the local band Dead End, which was created by students from a rock school in Tampa. The band members’ preferences soon diverged, with Carter being more interested in pop music while the others preferred alternative rock. As a result, Carter left the band two years later.

He made his solo debut at the age of nine. It was the Backstreet Boys’ Berlin debut, which took place in March 1997. Crush on You, his debut single, was released the same year. Aaron Carter’s self-titled debut album was made available on December 1st, 1997. In a number of European nations, it gained considerable popularity.

One of his most significant and commercially successful pieces is Aaron’s Party (Come Get it).

It was released in the year 2000 by Jive Records. It sold three million copies in the United States alone, making it a major success. Because the tracks Girl You Shine, I Want Candy, Aaron’s Party (Come Get It), and Bounce was so popular, Radio Disney played them frequently.

In 2002, he was a voice actor for Liberty’s Kids, an animated historical children’s television show. It debuted on PTV Kids in September 2002.

Aaron Carter also appeared in films, including Fat Albert, a romantic fantasy comedy about the Fat Albert group traveling from the cartoon world to the real world to help a lonely adolescent girl.

Late Career

Carter released The Music Never Stopped EP on SoundCloud in February 2015. Carter launched his “Curious” music video as Kid Carter on January 31, 2016, which he co-directed with Michael D. Monroe and Ben Epstein of MDM Media.

The song “Fool’s Gold” by Carter was eventually released in April 2016. Later in January 2017, “Sooner or Later,” a new song, was made available.

“Lake street Louie”, Carter, Jon Asher, Melanie Fontana, Taylor Helgeson, and Michel Schulz wrote the song. Later on February 16, 2018, he released his fifth studio album under the same title.

Carter’s last album, Blacklisted, was released on all music outlets two days following his passing.

Aaron and Melanie lost custody of their son in September 2022, only months before his passing, due to worries about domestic violence and substance misuse.
