Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League and led his franchise to victory in Super Bowl XLV.

Aaron Rodgers (an American football player) is currently the starting quarterback for the Green Bay Packers.

He played football for the University of California at Berkeley, where he was a star player for two years before being drafted by the Packers in 2005.

In 2008, Rodgers went on to take his team to victory in Super Bowl XLV. He won two MVP awards, setting numerous NFL passing records along the way.

Early Life

Aaron Charles Rodgers was born on 2nd Dec 1983, in Chico, California. Rodgers was the second child of Ed and Darla Rodgers among three sons. Rodgers, at the age of two, used able to sit and watch an entire NFL game silently.

Rodgers also starred for his Raleigh Hills Little League team, in the mid-1990s. As he was unable to land a Division I scholarship, he enrolled at Butte College, in 2002.

College Career

During his one year at Butte, Rodgers led the school to a 10-1 record and made No.2 in the National ranking. He was also named as MVP (Most Valuable Person) of his conference.

Due to his success, he grab the eye of scouts at the University of California, and the following season, Rodgers enrolled at the college and became the team’s most prominent player.

During his two years at Berkeley, Rodgers led a vaunted offense that propelled him to break several school records and helped make him a Heisman finalist in 2004.

Joining the NFL’s Green Bay Packers

However, joining the packers meant sitting on the bench and watching the team’s starting, As Brett Favre was playing for the Packers since 1992.

Finally, in 2008, after Green Bay elected not to re-sign Favre, Rodgers got his chance to quarterback Green Bay

Super Bowl Champion and MVP

On February 6, 2011, he guided the Packers to victory in Super Bowl XLV( an American football game) between AFC and NFC champions.

Rodgers also succeeded in seasons and was able to maintain his spot among football’s top performers. In December 2014, Rodgers rated first in NFL history. He was also voted NFL MVP for the second time.

Later NFL Career

Later, Rodgers pursued to put up elite numbers, leading in the NFL. However, his late return in the year wasn’t enough to push Green Bay back to the playoffs.

The Packers felt comfortable enough to offer their 35-year-old quarterback a contract extension before the start of the 2018 season, and Rodgers impressed by throwing an impressive 25 touchdowns against just two interceptions.

However, the Packers spit out their worst record since his first year, finishing 6-9-1.

Rodgers performed similarly in 2019, and this time the Packers surged to the top of their division with a 13-3 record.

Love Life

Rodgers dated actress Olivia Munn for 4 years. In early 2018, It was also revealed that Rodgers was dating race-car driver Danica Patrick.

In an MVP acceptance speech in Feb 2021, Rodgers said that he was engaged. Although, he was dating actress Shailene Woodley at first.

Later On, Woodley confirmed their engagement on The Tonight Show With Jimmy Fallon. The couple officially called off their engagement in Feb 2022.

Rodgers has a net worth of million dollars. Likewise, He earned $90 from salary and endorsements too. In March 2022, Aaron extended the contract for $50 million per year for four years, with $153 million guaranteed.
