French tennis player Adrian Mannarino competes professionally. In Rosmalen, Sweden,  he defeated Jordan Thompson to win his first ATP Tour singles championship of the year.

Early Life

Adrian Mannarino was born to Annie and Florent Mannarino on June 29, 1988, with the sun sign of Cancer. He is the second youngest of five kids, in addition.

He has three older brothers in total: Thomas Mannarino, Julien Mannarino, and Morgan Mannarino. Adrian also has a younger sister by the name of Iris Mannarino.

ATP World Tour

At the 2017 Rogers Cup, Mannarino advanced to his first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 singles quarterfinal by defeating Borna ‘ori’ and Fernando Verdasco.

He reportedly defeated world No. 10 Milos Raonic before falling to Denis Shapovalov.

After that, Mannarino won the first and biggest singles match of his career and beat a Top 5 player in the ATP singles rankings.

After that, he won the Japan Open’s 500 Series singles match for the first time in his ATP World Tour career.

He competed in the Sydney International, his first ATP World Tour match of the year. He achieved his then career-high ranking of 25 in the ATP singles rankings following the match.

In the same way, he defeated Jordan Thompson in the championship match to win the 2019 Rosmalen Grass Court Championships, which were played on grass.

He began his 2021 season at the Delray Beach Open, where he was defeated by Cameron Norrie in the second round.

Similar to the Mexico Open, he retired during his match against fifth seed Grigor Dimitrov in the first round.

2020 Incident

Mannarino faced No. 5 Russian Alexander Zverev in a Grand Slam tennis match in September 2020.

He was later ordered by his health officials to be quarantined in his hotel room for an additional week, as Mannarino revealed.
