Career

Albon also qualified for the feature race in fourth place. Nonetheless, after the third player was disqualified, he was promoted to third on the provisional starting grid. He finished fifth in the race.
Moving on, he started the sprint race fourth on the grid and secured his first Formula 2 podium.
Later in his career, he finished third in the sprint race at the season finale in Abu Dhabi. Leclerc passed him on the final lap, putting him in second place.
DAMS, a French auto racing team, signed Albon to partner with Nicholas Latifi for the 2018 season.
