Gomes played in 33 games and netted four goals in Valencia’s inaugural campaign. A lengthy contract that would keep him there until June 30, 2020, was then accepted by him from Valencia.

Barcelona (2016 – 2019)

On July 21, 2016, Gomes was transferred to Barcelona for a cost of €35 million + €20 million in add-ons, bringing an early end to his time at Valencia.

Everton (2018 – 2020)

Andres Gomes later paid €2.25 million to join Everton on a season-long loan on August 9, 2018.

Even though Gomes sustained a leg injury during the preseason, Everton nonetheless decided to sign him.

Gomes played 82 minutes in a 2-0 victory over Crystal Palace on October 21, 2018, marking his Premier League debut.

Gomes scored his first goal for the Toffees in a 1-3 loss at home against Wolverhampton Wanderers on February 2, 2019.

Unfortunately, he has only been able to net one goal for the Toffees. For Sam Allardyce’s Everton, Andres Gomes developed into a key player and a consistent starter.

He was given a three-match suspension for stepping on Aleksandar Mitrovic’s leg on April 16, 2019, during a 2-0 loss to Fulham, which considerably hampered his progress.
