Arie Luyendyk Jr. and Lauren Burnham burned Balenciaga’s shoes as a response to the brand’s action against the campaign ad. Balenciaga recently posted a children’s campaign ad which supports child pornography so all the people are mad by its action.

Arie Luyendyk Jr. and his wife, Lauren Burnham are not quiet anymore. They told everyone that they are against Balenciaga’s action by burning their shoes. On Friday, the duo posted a video on Instagram which featured Balenciaga shoes that they burnt.

This means they are taking action against Balenciaga in their own way. As we can see in the video, the couple chose white pair of shoes from their closet. Then, both of them burnt those shoes using a blowtorch. After that, they threw burnt shoes in the trash bin.

Well, this is not the end of the video, after burning Balenciaga’s shoes, Lauren showed a peace sign and wrote Bye Balenciaga. Likewise, Arie and his wife captioned the post by saying,won’t miss ya”.

And, throughout the video, “The Campfire Song” is played by Sponge Bob Square Pants. Meanwhile, this is not the end as many people commented on this video.

All of them are hating Balenciaga’s actions and no one is happy about this. One frustrated user wrote, Burn in hell Balenciaga”. Furthermore, another one said, “???? If only all influencers would take a stand with issues like this. A difference would be made.” The third one stated, “???? iconic”

Not only Arie and Lauren but other celebrities also take a stand against Balenciaga in their own way. Brittany Aldean on Wednesday posted a picture where she threw all of her Balenciaga clothes and accessories. She captioned the post by saying, “It’s trash day” where the clothes and things were thousands of dollars worth.

On the other hand, Lala Kent also take an action against the children’s campaign ad. She posted via her Instagram account and is proud that she hasn’t bought any of Balenciaga’s products. Lala further explained to her followers,

“Reject the darkness, find the light. The well-being of our world and its innocent beings depends on it”

Similarly, Bella Hadid and Nicole Kidman haven’t responded to this matter yet. They have worked recently with Balenciaga. Though, people are really shocked by Bella’s action about not taking a stand against wrong. However, Hadid has deleted her Instagram post featuring Balenciaga. So, it must be a sign that she is against Balenciaga’s recent campaign ad.

Talking more about Balenciaga’s children’s campaign ad featured two little kids in animal-printed bags hanging on their necks. Also, another picture showed the documents about child pornography laws. The kids were holding BDSM outfits. Kim Kardashian posted a statement about this matter as well after facing a backlash from people. She was not uttering a word until Sunday night. According to Kim,

“I have been quiet for the past few days, not because I haven’t been disgusted and outraged by the recent Balenciaga campaigns, but because I wanted an opportunity to speak to their team to understand for myself how this could have happened.”

Moreover, Kardashian continued, she doesn’t support the action of Balenciaga even though she has worked many times with the. As a mother of four, she is against this and will be forever. Besides this, Balenciaga apologizes at that time after their ad went viral. They posted an Instagram story saying that they are really sorry for their cause. In addition, they stated,

“We sincerely apologize for any offense our holiday campaign may have caused. Our plush bear bags should not have been featured with children in this campaign. We have immediately removed the campaign from all platforms.”

Furthermore, they also added that they won’t repeat this anymore and said,

“We apologize for displaying unsettling documents in our campaign. We take this matter very seriously and are taking legal action against the parties responsible for creating the set. We strongly condemn the abuse of children in any form. We stand for children’s safety and well-being.”

Though it has become many days since Balenciaga’s campaign ad most people are still not over it. Many celebrities are taking action fast while some are late but they are standing up for rights which is a positive thing any human can do.
