Bobby Joseph Hebert is an American sportscaster and former American football quarterback. As a professional football player, he played in the United States Football League (USFL) and the National Football League (NFL). Hebert, dubbed the “Cajun Cannon,” led the Panthers to the USFL championship in their inaugural season.

USFL

Bobby was without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks in USFL history. In 1993, he led the Michigan Panthers to the UFL championship, defeating the Philadelphia Stars with a score of 2-1. (24-22).

In 1985, he and his squad were defeated in triple overtime by Steve Young’s Los Angeles Express.

During the ongoing match, the team also suffered a few injuries. But, in the end, what matters is the effort they put in and the dogged pursuit of victory.

Later, the Panthers united with the Oakland Invaders, and Bobby resumed his leadership, this time against the Philadelphia Stars.

When the New Orleans Saints drafted BobbySaints in 1985, he earned his rookie spot. The following year, he worked with quarterback Dave Wilson.

He was the primary quarterback, with John Fourcade serving as the backup.

He was selected the Associated Press NFC Offensive Player of the Week for his contributions to the Saints’ victory over the Denver Broncos.

Furthermore, He caught 20 of 23 passes for 194 yards and three touchdowns. Furthermore, Bobby could provide his squad with excellent beginnings and great playoff performances in 1991 and 1992.
