In a podcast interview conducted by fellow actor and comedian Joe Rogan on February 1, 2011, Lee stated that his parents barely spoke to him during the first few years he performed stand-up comedy, but after appearing on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, his father called and inquired how much he had to pay to get on the show, then apologized for not supporting his son’s humorous career.

TigerBelly is a video podcast hosted by Bobby Lee and his ex-partner Khalyla Kuhn, which debuted in 2015 and has featured guests such as technical engineer Gilbert Galon and producer George Kimmel. After participating as a guest on the DVDASA podcast, Kuhn became interested in creating her own podcasts.

Erik Griffin’s podcast

All Things Comedy swiftly signed Lee and Erik Griffin’s podcast pitch, but they were unable to meet. She was in the hospital for several weeks and was unable to resume her nursing work. She needed something to keep her busy, so she started her own podcast. Lee appeared on her show, and the connection was so powerful that Lee decided to focus solely on podcasts with Kuhn.

Lee remained with the ensemble until the show was terminated in 2009, and she had a brief appearance when MADtv was resurrected on The CW in 2016.
