The only skier to have triumphed in all five World Cup competitions is Bode Miller.

As one of just five athletes to do so, he also holds Olympic medals in four different sports.

Miller has won six different World Cups, four different World Championships, and one silver medal in the super-G.

Bode Miller was born on October 12, 1977, to Woody and Jo Kenny Miller in Easton, New Hampshire.

Professional Life and Career

One of the best alpine ski racers in the world, Bode Miller has set every major record and won every major honor during his career.

When he was chosen for the American ski team and participated in the Nagano Winter Olympics in 1998, his international career officially got underway.

Sadly, he was not awarded a medal in the contest. He suffered a left knee ligament tear in 2001 while racing in the Federation Internationale de Ski in St. Anton, Austria.

He received a silver medal in that particular competition.

With each passing year, his performance got better. He became the first American to win two gold medals in a single competition in 2003, setting a world record in the process.

He also put out a commendable effort in 2014, winning six World Cups. Because he was too old for the sport, his career came to an end in 2017. He turned his focus to horse racing.

Relationship Status

Bode Miller wed Morgan Beck, a well-known volleyball player, and model, on October 7, 2012. They welcomed a girl named Emiline Grier in 2016 and a son named Edward Nash Skan Miller in 2015.

Emeline tragically perished in June 2018 after falling into a neighbor’s pool on the same street.

Asher and Aksel, twin boys they announced they were expecting in 2019, were born on November 8 of that same year.
