Brad Miller Early Life, and Education

Brad Miller, birth name Bradley Alan Miller, was born on April 12, 1976, in Kendallville, Indiana. He grew up with his parents as an American citizen.

While his mother and father are very supportive they have stayed away from the limelight.

He has never shared any details of his parents or his family on the Internet. Miller did his high school in East NobleKendallville, Indiana.

Followingly, he later joined Maine Central Institute in Maine Central Institute. Miller attended Purduefrom 1994 to 1998.

Career

Brad Miller, the American former professional basketball player is a two-time NBA All-star. In the initial days of his career, he prep school basketball for a season in Maine at MCI Maine Central Institute.

Afterward, he returned to his home state to attend Purdue University, located in West Lafayette, Indiana. At the time, he played under head coach Gene Keady and assistant coaches Bruce Weber and Frank Kendrick.

While playing the five players was one of only five players to record 800 rebounds, and the first player in school history to have 1,500 points, 800 rebounds, and 250 assists.

Fast forward to 1998, he started his professional career in the Italian Serie A with Bini Viaggi Livorno. He then went to sign a contract with the Charlotte Hornets as an undrafted free agent in 1999.

Miller, a two-time NBA All-Star played for six National Basketball Association (NBA) teams. Over the years, he has played with Charlotte Hornets, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers, Sacramento Kings, Houston Rockets, and Minnesota Timberwolves. 

Moreover, he also has a history of substance abuse and violated the league policy due to which he got suspended for five games in 2008.

He was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays after playing for the Mariners for two successful seasons. But because of his repeated injuries, he was unable to perform well. In 2018, he was then traded to the Milwaukee Brewers.

Injuries

Brad Miller’s injuries caused him to miss several games. Miller suffered injuries to his right groin, pinky toe, and abdomen in 2018, which kept him out of most of the games.

He also had a torn hip labrum, which was later repaired using an arthroscopic technique. He had a procedure similar to that called microfracture surgery to repair cartilage damage.
