He was born on 31st December 1971 in Hempstead, New York, USA to his mother, Rick Barry, and his father Pam Hale.

Meanwhile, he only played 37 of the 50 games that season due to an ankle ailment, starting 30 of them, and averaging 11.1 points per game.

Later on, he was traded to Seattle for Hersey Hawkins and James Cotton after failing to fill the Bulls’ void on 12th August 1999. Likewise, he began working in Seattle with fellow Oregon State alumnus Gary Payton.

Additionally, he played point guard and occasionally filled in as a small forward for the team. Barry also played four seasons for the Seattle Supersonics. He also appeared in ten postseason games, most of his career.

Furthermore, he signed as a free agent with the San Antonio Spurs in 2004 and spent the majority of the season as a reserve.

Similarly, Brent also featured with Ian Eagle for TNT’s coverage of the 2018 NBA playoffs. Later on, Barry joined the San Antonio Spurs front office as their vice president of basketball operations in 2018.
