After a five-year relationship, Britney Spears and her boyfriend, Sam Asghari, are getting marrying. The couple confirmed their engagement on September 12, 2021, with the singer showing off her ring on Instagram.

On Instagram, the mother-of-two showed off her four-carat diamond engagement ring, which was fashioned by Forever Diamonds NY.
They met on the set of the singer’s music video for “Slumber Party” in 2016 and have been dating ever since.

Spears’ third marriage will be to Asghari, who is a personal trainer. Spears has two children from her former marriage to dancer Kevin Federline.
The couple split in 2007 after a three-year marriage. Before marrying Federline, the singer married Jason Alexander, a childhood friend, in Las Vegas in 2004.

Spears published a series of selfies wearing a pastel pink tulle ballgown in the latest of her characteristic Instagram slideshow posts, throwing fans into a frenzy that the soon-to-be bride had picked her wedding gown.
Spears quickly debunked any suspicions that the gown was not the one she would be wearing on her wedding day, and she also revealed who is designing the singer’s wedding gown with the caption:

The bride-to-be also tweeted a snapshot of her wedding veil in May 2022.

The singer donned a strapless Monique Lhuillier gown with lace half-length gloves and a cathedral veil for her wedding to Federline in 2004.
After the reception, Spears changed into a lace short dress with a garter by Lhuillier.

Asghari published a series of images ahead of their holiday in December 2021 to commemorate Spears’ 40th birthday.

The last statement sent their followers into a frenzy, with some assuming that they’d already married.

While neither party has addressed the fan speculation, the singer did refer to Asghari as her fiancé in her post, so we don’t expect to see wedding images anytime soon.
In recent months, the couple has teased fans with possible wedding venues.
Spears started on Instagram in October 2021 that she and Asghari were having trouble deciding where to marry because they were on vacation in French Polynesia.

Britney Spears had already filed court documents stating that she does not want her father to ‘obstruct’ a prenuptial agreement that she is said to be commissioned before her marriage to Sam Asghari.
While there were many good wishes for the couple following their engagement, several fans were quick to point out the significance of a prenuptial agreement to safeguard both of their finances.

Octavia Spencer, an actress, was one of Spears’ fans who suggested the singer sign a prenuptial agreement before the couple married, commenting on the singer’s engagement post, “Make him sign a prenup.”
While some fans were offended by Spencer’s remark, Asghari has since quipped on his Instagram Stories that the couple will be signing an “ironclad prenup.”
‘Of course, we’re getting an iron-clad prenup to protect my car and shoe collection in case she ditches me one day,’ he said to a prospective contract comment.
