Professional Career

In 2008, the Brooklyn Nets selected Stanford University’s Brook Lopez with the 10th overall pick. On October 9, 2008, Lopez made his NBA debut in a 95-85 victory, averaging 8 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 blocks over the course of 25 minutes.

He was chosen to participate in the 2009 NBA All-Star Weekend Rookie Challenge as a result of his performance.

For his first season, Brook played in 82 games and averaged 13.0 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 1.9 blocks.

The Brooklyn Nets defeated the Charlotte Bobcats 97-91 on December 4, 2009, to win their inaugural game.

In the 2009–2010 season, Lopez started each game. But the season didn’t work out well for them. With a final record of 12-70, they had the worst record in NBA history.

In a victory over the Denver Nuggets, he had 28 points and eight 3-pointers.

For the Milwaukee Bucks in their victory over the Toronto Raptors in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals, Lopez made the biggest contribution possible.

In order to help the team win, he scored a 3-pointer, averaged a career-high 29 points per game, and provided solid defense.

With the Milwaukee Bucks, Lopez extended his contract for 4 years and $52 million in 2019.

He beat the Houston Rockets in a victory in October 2019 when he made his season debut, tallying 11 points, three assists, and five blocks.
