C.J. was assigned to the Albuquerque Thunderbirds of the NBA Development League (D-League) for the 2005-06 season by the Utah Jazz to obtain more experience in basketball.
Miles appeared in 21 games over the 2006-07 season. He was reassigned to the Idaho Stampede of the D-League for yet another season.
