NBA

In the second round (#44 overall) of the 2011 NBA Entry Draft, the Golden State Warriors picked Charles Barkley. Due to the NBA lockout, he joined up with Teramo Baskets of the Lega Baskets Serie A in Italy on November 24, 2011.

He departed Teramo without having participated in a single match for the team, although the lockout ended after two weeks. On December 9, 2011, the player inked a contract to join the Warriors.

On December 25, 2011, the player faced the L.A. Clippers in the Warriors’ season opener for 2011–12. He briefly entered the game and played for one minute before leaving with an assist.
