Chinese swimmer Chen Aisen won two gold medals in the 10m platform diving event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. On October 22, 1995, in Guangzhou, China, the Olympian Chen Aisen was born. Sadly, there was little information available about his family and upbringing.

Aisen obtained her degree from Jinan University in Guangzhou. Chen studied economics and foreign commerce in depth.

He made history for Jinan University by being the first person from Jinan to win gold when he won two gold medals at the 2016 Olympics.

Aisen competed in the men’s 10m synchronized event at the East Asian Games in 2009, which was held in Hong Kong.

He earned a gold medal and brought it home with Zhang Yanquan. Amazingly, he won this conflict at the tender age of 14.

He also competed for many years in the FINA Diving Grand Prix competitions, taking home numerous medals.

Similarly to this, Chen and Zhang Yanquan won the 10m Synchro event at the Asian Championships in 2014 while competing together.

Chen twice participated in Olympic competitions, in 2016 and 2021. He won medals in both competitions.

Chen Aisen participated in the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympics. He was one of the greatest diving mysteries at the time and was only 20 years old.

His first Olympics had enormous expectations for him. He is paired with Lin Yue to compete in the men’s 10m platform synchro.

Lin won the gold medal in the synchronized competition at the 2008 Olympics.

With 585.30 points, Aisen scored another triumph and took home the gold medal in the men’s individual 10m platform.

Chen won the first gold medal for an athlete in both competitions thanks to nearly flawless performances at both.

Tokyo Olympics in 2020

Chen Aisen competed in the Olympics for the second time in Tokyo in 2020. He energized the Chinese people and served as an inspiration.

Aisen scored 470.58 points to take home the silver medal in the men’s 10m platform synchro. He and Cao Yuan were paired up for the event.

Worldwide competitions

Aisen has won a respectable amount of matches at the World Aquatic Championships.

He and Lin Yue won gold in the men’s 10m platform synchro event at the 2015 World Championship in Kazan.

He also won a gold medal in the men’s 10m platform synchro competition at the 2017 World Championship in Budapest, which is comparable to the previous accomplishment.

Chen and Cao Yuan took home a gold medal and victory in the men’s 10m platform synchro event at the 2019 World Championship in Gwangju.

Global Cup

Aisen and their partner Lin Yue won gold in the men’s 10m platform synchro competition at the 2016 FINA Diving World Cup. Their combined score was 456.00.

The Aisen scored 534.25 points in the individual 10m platform event, good for a silver medal.
