The Orlando Magic of the National Basketball Association’s Cole Hinton Anthony is an American professional basketball player. He represented the North Carolina Tar Heels in college basketball.
Early Life and Family
On May 15, 2000, Cole Anthony was born in Portland, Oregon, and was conceived by his parents, Greg Anthony and Crystal McCrary Anthony. His father played in the NBA as a pro basketball player for the Portland Trail Blazers.
When Cole was a little child, his family relocated to Manhattan, New York, where he grew up in a penthouse.
College Career
His high school career began at New York’s Archbishop Molly High School, then for his senior year, he transferred to Oak Hill Academy. The basketball team at Oak Hill is well-known.

He played point guard for Archbishop Molly High School during his first three years of high school when he helped his team advance to the CHSAA Class AA city championship finals.
After transferring to Oak Hill, he missed a few games of his senior season because of an ankle injury, but he later led his team to the GEICO High School Nationals semifinals.
Professional Career
He began his college basketball career at Briarwood, New York’s Archbishop Molloy High School, the same as how he began his professional basketball career.
He engaged in athletic competition with McDonald’s All-American Moses Brown. Despite having a poor season, Anthony made the third team of the USA Today All-USA. Later, he played for the PSA Cardinals in the prestigious Nike Elite Youth Basketball League (EYBL).
Anthony also transferred to Oak Hill Academy at the Mouth of Wilson, Virginia, for his senior year. As a senior, he found the intermediate value of a triple-twofold of 17.8 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists per game.

In addition, he was named the MVP of the 2019 McDonald’s All-American Game after scoring 14 points, five rebounds, and seven assists.
Cole has been a member of the National Team since the year 2018. In St. Louis, Missouri, he represented the United States in the 2018 FIBA Under-18 Americas Championship, in Catharines, Ontario.
He scored a game-high 18 points in the championship match, which the United States won 113-74 over Canada. He was then chosen for the all-competition team after averaging 14.3 goals and 4.2 assists per game.
