Daiya Seto is a Japanese swimmer who swims in butterfly, breaststroke, individual medley, and freestyle events. However, he is more special in individual medley and butterfly. Similarly, he has proved time and again that he is as bright as a diamond in the pool.

However, on September 23, a Japanese news site ‘Daily Shinco’ posted a report on Seto. Similarly, according to that news, Daiya was seen with his girlfriend in a particular hotel. Likewise, the swimmer was accused of having an extramarital affair.
Furthermore, he accepted having an extra material affair and apologized to his well-wishers and family. Though, there were other girls too with whom he was having an affair.
However, all the advertisements featuring Seto were deleted. On the other hand, Daiya’s major affiliation contract with All Nippon Airways was canceled because “he was not worthy of corporate image” anymore.
Suspension
Daiya Seto informed JOC and the Japan Swimming federation that he will not be the team captain for Tokyo Olympics.
