She also began showing up for TV and film auditions. Her big break came in 1985 when she got the audition for a role in the soap opera “One Life to Live.”

After securing her first TV roles, Danielle Harris went on to try out for a pivotal role in “Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers,”. It is the fourth film in the well-known “Halloween” franchise. She played Jamie Lloyd in the film.
The very next year, in “Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers,” Danielle reprised her role as Jamie. Due to the circumstances in the last movie’s plot, her character was a girl who was deaf.
Despite not being as well-liked as its predecessor, the movie nonetheless made a respectable amount of money. As a result, Jamie Lloyd gained popularity as a recurring character.
Danielle portrayed the lead character’s niece in the 1990 action movie “Marked for Death”. With the movies “City Slickers,” “Don’t Tell Mom the Babysitter’s Dead,” and “The Last Boy Scout,” Danielle had average success in 1991.
She also made appearances on “Growing Pains” and “The Killing Mind” on television. In addition, she was one of the main voice roles in the animated series ‘The Wild Thornberrys.’

Director Rob Zombie began work on a remake of the cult favorite horror movie “Halloween” in January 2007. He originally had no intention of using any actors from the first movie franchise, however, after watching Danielle’s audition, he decided otherwise.
