ASK Kadeti

In the 2007–2008 basketball season, Davis Bertans began playing for ASK Kadeti.

BAA Latvia

Between 2008 and 2010, Bertans participated in Latvia’s second-division league with BAA Riga. He also spent time with BK Keizarmezs and ASK Riga in the top league.

BK Barons

Davis Bertans began the 2010–2011 NBA season with the BK Barons.

Olympic Union

As a result of overcoming Crvena Zvezda, Partizan finished the season with their 13th Serbian League championship.

This was Davis’ third straight victory of the campaign. Then, on July 3, 2014, Davis ended his agreement with the team.

Kutzus Baskonia

On July 19, 2014, Spanish team Laboral Kutux Baskonia and Davis Bertans agreed to a three-year contract.

Bertans’ right knee, which had previously prevented him from playing in 2013, once more suffered an ACL tear in 2015. He then announced his absence for the next six to eight months.

Davis had appeared in about 22 games in the Euro League, scoring 11 points and grabbing 2.9 rebounds each. He scored 11.4 points per game in 25 games for the Spanish League.

In July 2016, a buyout agreement was reached between Davis Bertans and Baskona.

Spurs San Antonio

On July 14, 2016, Bertans committed to the San Antonio Spurs. In October 2016, he made his professional debut during the San Antonio Spurs’ season-opening game.

In four minutes after coming off the bench, he scored five points. The Golden State Warriors were defeated by a score of 129 to 100.

Bertans continued to score at a career-high rate. He pitched 15 of the Spurs’ 56 bench points, which significantly contributed to San Antonio Spurs’ 109-103 victory over the Boston Celtics.

In a 102-85 victory over the Charlotte Hornets in January 2017, he flawlessly scored 21 points.

To reach 51 three-pointers for the season, Bertans made three-pointers in a 107-85 victory over Golden State. He became the sixth rookie for the Spurs to reach 50 points in a season.

During the 2017–18 season, Bertans was twice sent to the Austin Spurs. He beat the Sacramento Kings 107-105 with a career-high 28 points.

On January 13, 2018, the Latvian player hit a career-high six three-pointers for 18 points. Simply put, they defeated the Denver Nuggets 112-80.

On July 11, 2018, he re-signed with the San Antonio Spurs. He returned in January 2019, scoring a season-high 21 points in a 132-119 victory.

Against the Washington Wizards, it was an outstanding victory.

Seattle Wizards

On July 6, 2019, Davis Bertans was transferred from the San Antonio Spurs to the Washington Wizards as part of a three-team deal.

Against the Charlotte Hornets, he scored 20 points and hit six three-pointers.

In November 2020, Bertans and the Washington Wizards agreed on a five-year, $80 million contract.
