He was born on 9th August 1967 in Fort Myers, Florida, U.S.A, to her father Mims Sanders, and her mother Connie Knight.

Moving towards his career, Deion began his professional career as a football player and baseball player. Although, he played in the MLB as well as the NFL as he started his professional journey in both sports in 1989.

In baseball, he was drafted by the New York Yankees first and later went on to play for the Atlanta Braves. But in football, he was drafted with the Atlanta Falcons in the 1989 NFL Draft which he achieved 24 passes on which he returned three for touchdowns.

He made his record by hitting 304 for the team and stole 26 bases and scored 14 triples in 97 matches in the 1992 season.

Deion left baseball for three years in 1997 when he made his record finishing 2nd in the NL and stole 56 bases in 115 games.

He became a member of the Dallas Cowboys football club in 1995 which he helped the Cowboys in winning their third Super Bowl title in 4 years in Super Bowl XXX.

After that, he returned to play baseball for the Cincinnati Reds he ended his baseball career in 2001.
