Dejounte Dashaun Murray is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association.
He played collegiate basketball for the Washington Huskies for one season, and in 2015–16, as a freshman, he was selected to the Pac-12 second-team all-conference.

College Career
When they were freshmen at the University of Washington in 2015–16, the athlete was selected for the Pac-12 All-Freshman Team and Second Team.
He played 33.5 minutes per game on average, averaged 16.1 points, 4.4 assists, 1.8 steals, and 5.9 rebounds, and started all 34 games.
Ahead of his final three years of NCAA eligibility, on March 23, 2016, the player also announced that he would declare for the NBA draft.

Professional Career
Dejounte was chosen by the San Antonio Spurs with the 29th overall pick in the 2016 NBA Draft on June 23, 2016.
On October 29, 2016, during the Spurs’ third game of the 2016–17 season, Murray made the same mistake.
On February 3, 2018, during a 120-111 loss to the Utah Jazz, Murray became the first player since Kawhi Leonard to reach 500 points and 300 rebounds in his first 100 games with the Spurs.
He also pulled down eight rebounds on March 19, 2018, when the Warriors were defeated 89-75. In doing so, he surpassed the previous record for a point guard’s single-season total of rebounds.
When he was selected to the NBA All-Defensive Second Team at the end of the season, he became the league’s youngest All-Defense player.
A four-year, $64 million contract extension between Murray and the Spurs was reached in October 2019 in a similar manner, bringing the total contract value to $70 million with incentives.
