English musician, composer, and singer-songwriter Dhani Harrison was born on August 1st, 1978. George and Olivia Harrison’s lone child is him. Dhani made his debut as a professional musician by working with Jeff Lynne to finish recording his father’s final album, Brainwashed.

At Windsor, Berkshire’s HRH Princess Christian’s Hospital, Harrison was born on August 1st, 1978.

He resided with his parents in Friar Park, an estate in Henley-on-Thames, where his father had lived since 1970. Receiving a drum lesson from “Uncle” Ringo Starr, a friend and bandmate of his father, is one of Harrison’s earliest memories, dating back to the age of six.

He remembered being an enthusiastic drummer before the class. But as soon as Starr started playing, he was so terrified that he bolted from the room in hysterical fear.

Harrison first attended Badgemore Primary School in Henley-on-Thames, then the Montessori-based Dolphin School near Twyford. Senior, when attending Shiplake College, situated close to Henley, he joined the Combined Cadet Force and demonstrated a strong interest in rowing that persisted into his later years.

Harrison graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Brown University where he majored in physics and industrial design.

Dhani began building a reputation for himself after working on his father’s final album and having experience helping him in home recording sessions. He worked with Jeff Lynne to finish and release the album, Brainwashed, in 2002 after George’s passing in 2001.

A Grammy for “Best Pop Instrumental Performance” was awarded to the CD for its enormous success. Dhani performed at the performance honoring his father’s life on the first anniversary of his passing with some of his father’s old colleagues. At the show, Dhani provided support on acoustic guitar.

Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Steve Winwood, and Prince all joined Dhani on stage. They played the heartbreakingly gorgeous song While My Guitar Gently Weeps. Dhani and his new band began recording in 2006, and in August 2008, Thenewno2 released their debut album, You Are Here. Yomp and Crazy Tuesday, which they later released, received widespread praise.

In February 2010, a brand-new band called Fistful of Mercy was created. Ben Harper, Joseph Arthur, and Dhani Harrison made up the band. Harrison had decided to go with them after meeting Joseph in a skate park in Santa Monica.

In memory of his father, George Fest tribute performance, Harrison produced George Fest, a live record and concert DVD package. The memorial service took place on September 28, 2014, at the Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles.

Harrison performed his first-ever solo performance at the Panorama Festival in New York City in 2017. In Parallel, Harrison’s debut solo album was made available in October 2017.

He supported Jeff Lynne’s ELO on their 2019 tour as their opening act, and he frequently sang the Traveling Wilburys song “Handle with Care” with them.
