Diane Keaton seems happy being single and confirms she will never be in a relationship. She is happy in her world including her kids and doggie.
Diane Keaton is single, happy, and free as well. Recently, in an interview with AARP Magazine, she talks about her relationship status and her life. Keaton feels happy with her life being single and without a partner’s support.
Diane mentions she has never been married and for the last 15 years, she is single. Keaton recalled her memories and said it’s been 15 years since not gone on a date with anyone. Well, this is interesting and let u talk about this more.
Similarly, Diane adopted two kids, a daughter Dexter who is 27 years old, and a son, Duke who is 22. Meanwhile, she adopted them when she was in her 50s. Talking about her single life, Diane Keaton stated,
“I don’t date. I don’t remember anyone calling me, going, ‘This is So-and-So, I’d like to take you out.’ They don’t happen. Of course not.”
The 77 years actress also gushed about her kids saying they are the best. She added, “They’re great. They’re doing good.” Likewise, in these years Diane’s daughter, Dexter got married, and her son Duke is settled in his own place now. So, the real friend who has always been there for her is a doggie. Her name is Reggie, has always been on her side no matter what.
In an interview for AARP Magazine, Diane Keate also talked about Reggie saying,
“Dogs are irresistible. They’re just idiots. Reggie is a big jerk, and she’s hilarious.”

Keaton then added that her dong was gifted by her friend and at first she didn’t want a dog. However, it was a gift so she couldn’t deny and this way Reggie came into her life. In addition, the actress said,
“A friend of mine gave her to me. I didn’t even ask for her. He came to me and said, ‘I think you need this dog.’ I was like, ‘OK, I guess?’ Of course, now I just love her.”

Diane Keaton on the other hand has always talked about her single life. She has always been vocal about not getting married and she believes that she is not marriage material.
Even though she dated well-renowned actors in her early life. They were some of Hollywood’s biggest stars, Woody Allen, Aarren Beattu, and Al Pacino. Keaton thinks she is strange and also mentioned she has not gone on date prior 15 years.
“Let’s say 15 years… They probably just thought, ‘Enough’s enough… she’s too weird.’ I’m kind of odd, but I’m doing fine. Someday… someone will marry me… Maybe one of these nice men today who have to deal with me today.”

Moreover, in the year 2019, Diane Keaton stated this matter. She said,
“I think that I’m strange. Today I was thinking about this. I’m 73 and I think I’m the only one in my generation and maybe before who has been a single woman all her life.”
Not only this, but Keaton also added,
“[I’m not sad] because I think that I needed more of a maternal aspect. I don’t think it would have been a good idea for me to have married, and I’m really glad I didn’t, and I’m sure they’re happy about it, too.”
Diane Keaton shared in one interview that she always wanted single life from a young age cause she didn’t want to be someone’s wife.
