At Jennifer Lopez’s Father’s Day tribute, Marc Anthony is noticeably absent.
The 52-year-old “on the floor” singer honored her dad David Lopez and her fiancé Ben Affleck in her newsletter on the occasion of father’s day while remaining mute about her 53-year-old ex-husband Marc Anthony.
For Father’s Day, Jennifer Lopez wrote a poem honoring her fiancé Ben Affleck but omitted Marc Anthony, her ex-husband and the father of her two children.
Lopez shared a photo collage of herself and Affleck on her Instagram page.
The caption reads: “The best time of my life is right now. Even though I enjoy my work, nothing makes me happier than starting a family with someone I adore and who shares our commitment and our family. I feel fortunate.”
Lopez penned the following in the video’s caption: “The kindest, most devoted, affectionate, reliable, and selfless Daddy ever wishes you a happy father’s day.

In her newsletter, she extended the tribute by complimenting Affleck for loving Emme and Max, her and Marc Anthony’s children, “without obligation.”
I’ve been watching your father for more than a year from the front row, so to speak. One of the most wonderful things I have ever seen is how attentive and involved you are with them during every moment they are with you, the singer said.
By saying, “You have shown me the most important thing in life any parent could ever show anyone: to be a nice person,” Lopez also paid tribute to her “kind” and “kind” father. You set an example by doing it.

While admirers marveled over Lopez and Affleck, who just rekindled their romance and got engaged in April 2022, others questioned why Lopez hadn’t posted anything for Anthony, with whom she was married from 2004 to 2011.

Since their breakup, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have remained friends
Lopez shared a few images of Anthony and their kids on her Instagram account for Father’s Day in 2021.
Announcing to Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest in 2017 that she and her ex-husband were in “a beautiful place,” Lopez has been transparent about her co-parenting arrangement with Anthony.
“We’re going to be great buddies forever, Lopez declared. He will always be there for me, and I will always be there for him.”
Lopez said at the time that her relationship with Anthony was so good that he was assisting her in the creation of her Spanish album.
“In all honesty, I believe it has improved our relationship, she said. We’re just in a great place, so it’s even better. Additionally, the kids get to interact with us both and witness our collaboration. Both they and we benefit from it. It just benefits the entire family.”
In 2018, Lopez admitted to Sunday ‘TODAY’ anchor Willie Geist that while the couple was married, Anthony greatly aided her career.
The vocalist of “Let’s Get Loud” said, “Marc helped me with my confidence while I was married to him, and he recognized where I suffered.”
Lopez claimed Anthony would be adamant “You have a wonderful voice. Never accept the criticism that your singing isn’t very good.” And I respected him so much because I think he’s one of history’s greatest vocalists, she continued.
