For Ohio State in the 2018 college football season, Haskins started each of the team’s 14 games.
Haskins was one of just seven quarterbacks to throw for 50 touchdowns in a single season. Second, with 4831 throwing yards, Haskins broke the previous record held by Ohio State.

NFL Draft
Haskins worked out with quarterback coach at Bullis School Quincy Avery in advance of the NFL draft. He used to work out for six hours, four days a week. Haskins used to spend the first two hours lifting and working on his agility before practicing his throws with footwork exercises.
Haskins was chosen by the Washington Redskins as the 15th choice in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Although Joe Theismann’s jersey number 7 was unofficially retired by Washington, Haskins requested and was given it.

Against the New York Giants in Week 4, Haskins made his club debut. Despite his 107 throwing yards and three interceptions, Washington was beaten by the Giants 24-3.
Haskins started for Washington for the first time in a 24-9 defeat to the Buffalo Bills later in week 9. Dwayne earned his first victory as a starter in week 12 as Washington defeated the Detroit Lions 19-16.
Haskins was selected as a starter and one of the team captains for Washington for the 2020 season.

Haskins first violated the league’s Covid regulation in October, just before the game against the New York Giants.
