How did Elijah Bryant start his Career?

College Career

Bryant quickly displayed his ability in basketball games after showcasing his talent at Elon University.

He had 14.2 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.3 steals, and 2.7 assists per game in his freshman year of college. Despite being elected CAA Rookie of the Year in 2015, he couldn’t hold onto the title.

Soon after, he changed schools and soon spent the entire first season at Brigham Young University because of NCAA transfer rules.

In his second season, Bryant averaged 11.7 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 2.2 assists per game while playing in just 23 games altogether due to a knee injury.

Bryan declared his intention to graduate and chose to pursue a professional career in 2018.

Professional Career

Elijah Bryant gave the 2018 NBA Draft a shot, but he was not chosen. He never gave up trying to play in the NBA, even though his ambition was never realized.

After being rejected from the NBA, he took a plane to Israel to pursue a career with Hapoel Eilat in the Israeli Premier League.

Bryant had amazing performances throughout the entire season, which enabled the Israeli club upset a superior squad, Bnei Herzlia, on October 29, 2018.

For his exceptional performance in the different league games he competed in during November, Bryant was also awarded Player of the Month recognition on December 4.

Nevertheless, he finished the league season as the fourth-highest scorer, and his team qualified for the 2019 Israeli League Final Four.

His stay in Israel came to an end shortly after, as he signed with the Milwaukee Bucks for the 2019 NBA Summer League.

In 2019, he made his way back to the Israeli League, where he signed a two-year deal with Maccabi Tel Aviv, one of the league’s dominant teams.

Once more, he excelled in both the Israeli league and the EuroLeague until finally leaving the team in 2021 to sign with the Milwaukee Bucks in the NBA.

His performance in 2021 turned out to be good. While the athlete realized his aim of playing regularly for his team in the nation’s top domestic basketball league.
