Fredderick Edmund VanVleet Sr. is an American professional basketball player who is a member of the National Basketball Association’s Toronto Raptors (NBA).

VanVleet was the second-best point guard in college his senior year, and he was ranked 14th by ESPN and 17th by N.B.C. Sports. Similarly, Fred scored a career-high 32 points in a game against Evansville, making all 15 of his free throw tries.

Further, Freddy established a school career record with 225 points in his final game for Wichita State in a match against Miami in March.

Professional Career

Toronto Raptors

Fred was not initially taken in the 2016 NBA draft and turned down offers to play in the NBA Development League. Similarly, VanVleet, on the other hand, signed with the Toronto Raptors for the 2016 NBA Summer League.

Further, Fred made his NBA debut against the Oklahoma City Thunder in November. However, Fred only appeared for 26 seconds in his debut game.

Again, In his fourth career appearance, Fred scored his first career points against the Los Angeles Lakers in December.

Fred began the season with a career-high 19 points against the Bucks and 14 assists against the Lakers. Similarly, Fred set a career-high with 30 points in a victory over the Atlanta Hawks.
