The fashion Olympics kicked off with the Met Gala in 2022. The A-List stars have returned, and the event got rescheduled for the first Monday in May.
Some celebs have returned to the Met’s stairwells in their most lavish bespoke gowns and couture after a two-year absence.
Which celebrities, on the other hand, looked amazing while others looked like fashion disasters? Let’s find out here!
The theme of the Party
“Gilded Glamour” was the theme of the Met Gala this year, and several celebrities were expected to attend.
In gowns inspired by the age of American industrialists’ excessive luxury, which spanned from the 1870s until the 1920s.
Others wore golden gowns since “gilded” refers to “thinly covered with gold leaf or gold paint.”
- With his mother, Elon Musk looked gorgeous. Maye, Kim Kardashian, and Nicola Peltz donned Valentino, while Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz wore Marilyn Monroe’s classic gown.
- Kim Kardashian evoked Marilyn Monroe in a classic 1960s gown, Blake Lively’s transformable gown was a show-stopper, and Gigi Hadid’s stylish ensemble — Bella, on the other hand, isn’t so keen on it.
- Jared Leto and Alessandro Michele, the artistic director of Gucci, stood out in twinning Gucci outfits, while Bridgerton’s Simone Ashley dazzled in Moschino.
You must be curious to see the glamorous looks and some not-so-glamorous looks.
The wait is over now!
