Ivana Spanovic, a Serbian long jumper, is the current European champion as well as a two-time World indoor champion.
At the IAAF Outdoor World Championships in 2013, Vuleta became the first Serbian track and field athlete to take home a medal.
Early Life, Family, and Education
Ljubia Spanovic, the champion’s devoted father, and sporty mother Vesna Spanovic gave birth to Ivana Spanovic. Ivana’s mother was also a long jumper and a well-known athlete in her day.

She won her first major title as a high-level athlete in 2015 when she won the European indoor championship. Ivana set a new state record of 6.98 meters there.
She also won another bronze medal at the World Outdoor Championships. All of this happened to her as Spanovic improved her national record twice: first in qualification (6.91) and again in the finals (7.01 got two times).

Ivana went on to win silver in the long jump at the 2015 Diamond League race. As a result, the Serbian Olympic Committee declared her the best female athlete of the year.

Injuries In Leagues
However, pain and injuries are all too common in the lives of athletes. Spanovic was injured, so she only competed in two Diamond League conferences during the offseason.
Similarly, Ivana dominated the early stages of the competition. Nonetheless, she finished fourth in her last attempt.
