Diving Career

At the 2010 European Junior Championships, Jack, a springboard expert, competed in the 1-meter and 3-meter springboard events.

He unexpectedly prevailed in both contests, and he started to become well-known. At the 2010 World Junior Championships, he also won gold in the same division.

Sadly, the young diver was unable to use his charm to win a medal this time.

Olympic Debut and First Olympic Medal

The British diver made his Olympic debut at the 2012 London Olympics. He also competed for the 3-meter springboard, but regrettably fell short of the semifinal round.

The discouraging defeat inspired the seventeen-year-old diver to exert more effort and bounce back. He thus entered the 2016 Rio Olympics with more experience on his side.

Jack participated in the 3-meter synchro and springboard events there.

He then put on a show for winning the gold medal with his partner Chris Mears. Not to mention that this was the first gold medal in 3m synchro diving for Great Britain.

At the 2012 London Olympics, the British diver made his Olympic debut. But he and his nation were very happy with this victory.

Tokyo 2020 Olympics

The three-time Olympian competed for Great Britain in his final Olympic competition at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Furthermore, since the pair took seventh place in 3m synchro, their loss was disappointing.

However, if he wins the 3m springboard, the springboard specialist still has a chance to win a gold for the second time in the Olympics.
