James Corden is apologizing for behaving rudely and making a sarcastic comment to the server of the New York restaurant Balthazar. He was banned from the owner of the restaurant.

James Corden is dealing with the controversy right now. Even though he apologized for his behavior, the news is still not over to some people. After getting banned from the New York restaurant Balthazar for behaving rudely to the server, he said sorry.

Due to this, he got banned by the owner of the restaurant, Keith McNally. Similarly, after a week of getting banned, he shows his appearance in his show, “Late Late Show“. In the rest episode of the show, James was sorry to everyone.

James began the show with a statement related to the controversy saying,

“I considered tweeting about it or Instagramming about it, but whenever these sorts of moments come my way, I like to adopt quite a British attitude of ‘Keep Calm and Carry on.”

Corden explained the whole scenario and what he said to the hotel’s staff. Though, he stated that it was the hit of the moment. His intention wasn’t to hurt any of them. The reason for James to pass rude comments to the server was bad service. According to him, they gave her wife the food she is allergic to. According to James,

“As her meal came wrong to the table the third time, in the heat of the moment, I made a sarcastic, rude comment about cooking it myself. It is a comment I deeply regret.”

Despite his actions, James Coden was really sorry to everyone and he also mentioned that he deserves the backlash he is facing right now. The owner of the restaurant, Keith McNally publicly bashed him and posted the server’s complaint on his Instagram account. Similarly, he banned Corden from the Baltharzer as well.

However, the comedian said sorry in his show and stated he respects everyone and the job as well. Further, he added,

“Because I didn’t shout or scream — like I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or use derogatory language — I have been walking around thinking that I hadn’t done anything wrong, right? But the truth is I have. I made a rude comment.”

Also, James continued,

“And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment. It was ungracious to the server.”

Meanwhile, he also talked about the restaurant and its services. They are just amazing but everyone has a bad day. So, for James Corden, it was a bad day. Well, he said,

“I understand the difficulties of being a server. I worked shifts at restaurants for years. I have such respect and I value anyone that does such a job. And the team at that restaurant is so great — that’s why I love it there. The restaurant manager and the server were lovely.”

Later, Keith McNally posted via Instagram about forgiving James Corden and ending their drama now. And, he wrote,

“It takes a real man to do this. In the past, I’ve behaved much worse than Corden but wasn’t man enough to apologize. and now, I’m going to ban myself from Balthazar for 2 weeks. People who live in Glass Houses …”
