Detroit Lions
Following the draft, Jarrad Davis agreed to a four-year contract worth $10.96 million with the Detroit Lions, including a $6.11 million sign-on bonus and an $8.54 million guarantee.
Later, Davis joined the team as the starting middle linebacker under head coach Jim Caldwell.
He made his professional debut in the same manner during the season’s opening game against the Arizona Cardinals.
He made a total of nine solo tackles before sacking Eli Manning of the New York Giants for the first time.

Following that, he made a season-high 12 combined tackles, bringing his total for the season to 96 (65 solos), along with three pass deflections, two sacks, and an interception.
Additionally, as he entered a new season, he had 63 tackles, two sacks, and three forced fumbles.
He played in and started 11 games for the Lions as their starting middle linebacker throughout the entire season.
He played in 14 games and recorded 46 tackles, a half-sack, and two forced fumbles in that time.
