Jenn Brown is a well-known name in sports broadcasting and television hosting. Jennifer Lynne Brown, also known as Jenn Brown, retired after eight years as an ESPN writer and anchor. She is, in reality, a presenter on American Ninja Warrior. She was also a two-time Emmy Award winner and worked for NFL Network.

 Early Life

Jenn was born and raised in Orlando alongside her sister Carrie. Carrie died in a horrible vehicle accident years later. Brown and her family were going through a difficult period.

Jenn’s father was a gymnastic instructor, and her mother was the founder of gymnastic schools across America.

On October 14, 2010, Brown was honored in Bishop Moore High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame.

While in High School, she broke her high school’s record for obtaining the most varsity letters (14) from any athlete, all while participating in seven different sports.

Brown then enrolled at the University of Florida on a full academic scholarship. Then she spent four years as a member of the Florida Gators softball team.

Jenn earned a degree in Criminology with a concentration in Sports Management.

Career as Host

Jennifer Lynn Brown began her television presenting career in 2003. Brown spent five years presenting the HDNet reality program Bikini Destinations.

Similarly, Brown worked as a reporter for Showtime Sports in 2008 and 2009, and she was a special correspondent for two years on Inside the NFL in her debut year, 2008.

She has also broadcast live events such as boxing and MMA for Showtime Sports and CBS.

In 2009, she was one of the hosts of ABC’s prime-time show The Superstars, a sports competition show in which athletes and celebrities competed together.

Brown worked as an E! Entertainment anchor, hosting the daily internet news show E! News Now.

Notably, Brown co-hosted two Mountain Lifestyle series for CBS Sports, 48 Straight, The Mountain Experience, and The Collegiate Nationals, with Jonny Moseley.

She also hosted a reality show called I Want to Look Like a High School Cheerleader Again on Country Music Television in 2007.

Similarly, Brown joined ESPN in 2010 and was a co-host on the NBC and Esquire Network summer primetime show American Ninja Warrior for eight years.

Brown is now working as a host and reporter for Spike’s on-air coverage of Bellator MMA, a mixed martial arts organization that features the greatest athletes.

In addition, she gives the most recent information, web coverage, and interviews throughout a live broadcast.

Other Careers

She has also worked as an actor in films such as Two Tickets to Paradise, Kingdom, and Bike Rally USA: Rebel Roads. She also modeled for Under Armour’s sportswear brand.

Brown has a rather successful career and personal life. Brown, like other celebrities, kept her secret and love life private, therefore there aren’t many speculations about her.

However, there were allegations that Brown was a lesbian, which were proven false when she married American actor Wes Chatham in 2012, and she has been a nice, devoted, and loving wife to her husband.

Jenn was 33 when she gave birth to John Nash, and 35 when she gave birth to her second son. Brown and her spouse have two boys and live in Los Angeles, California (USA).

She now feels that we should give back to the community and help those who are less fortunate, thus she participates in charitable events.

Brown did, however, have a younger sister named Carrie. Carrie died tragically in a vehicle accident in 2000, therefore she and her mother established the Carrie Brown Foundation, a non-profit organization, in her memory.

Notable achievements include summa cum laude, National Fastpitch Coaches Association Academic All-American, and National Society of Collegiate Awards.

She was also on the academic President’s List twice and the academic Dean’s List twice.

Initially, she planned to be a sports agent and applied to seventeen law schools, but she was instead hired to anchor a travel show.

In an interview, she said,

“I packed my bags and moved to LA, and the rest they say is history! To this day, I have still not opened any of my acceptance letters from the 17 law schools that I applied to as they sit in a drawer in my bedroom of my mom’s home in Orlando.”

Similarly, this Floridian is a two-time Emmy award winner, which is a fantastic distinction for anyone.
