In 2002, Dupri produced the hit single “Lovers and Friends” for Lil Jon & the East Side Boyz featuring Usher and Ludacris.

In 2003, Dupri produced and wrote for several songs on Mariah Carey’s album “Charmbracelet” including the songs “Boy (I Need You)” and “Bringin’ on the Heartbreak”

He released the single “Gotta Getcha” featuring Shakira, which reached the top of the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart in 2007.

In 2008, Dupri produced a number of tracks for the album “The Definition Of…” by Da Brat, which was released on So So Def Recordings.
