James Corden’s historic spat with Balthazar owner Keith McNally was made fun of by Jimmy Fallon, who claimed that he was the one who ruined the late-night host’s meals.
“I shouldn’t have put that hair in James’ egg but I thought it was funny at the time,” he told Page Six at the American Museum of Natural History Gala on Thursday night.
He explained, “I just over-tip,” keeping himself out of Corden, 44,’s spotlight by saying that.
Fallon’s joke was made a month after McNally referred to Corden as the “most aggressive” customer the hotspot has ever encountered.
During breakfast, McNally alleged that Corden yelled at the waitstaff because his wife’s eggs were not cooked to her satisfaction.

James Corden apology
The English-born comedian apologized on air a week after the Instagram post, admitting that he “made a terrible comment.”

The talk show host said that he had been “ungracious to the server,” despite his initial desire to “assume a British mentality” and “never complain, never explain.”
“I’ve been walking around thinking that I hadn’t done anything wrong since I didn’t shout or scream like I didn’t get up out of my seat, I didn’t call anyone names or use disparaging language.” Carden clarified. “But the truth is I have.”
The “Late Late Show With James Corden” presenter added, “I made a rude comment. And it was wrong. It was an unnecessary comment.

Fallon talks about his Daughters
Fallon revealed that his children, Winnie, 9, and Frances, 7, are doing well.
“You can see them growing into you know, they’re little women. They’re talking, asking questions, actually having real conversations like, you know, ‘Dad, what do you —’ You know, with their hand gestures,” he shared
He further added. “They’re two different children. We feed them the same stuff, we read them the same books. We show them the same TV shows, but they’re two different humans.”
Fallon stated that Winnie wants to be a writer while Frances wants to be a pop singer.
She writes books in only, like, 10 paragraphs, but it’s incredible. He said, “She wrote one titled The Magic Garden.
Moreover, He made a joke, “I didn’t tell her there was a show called ‘The Magic Garden’.” “But we’re currently in litigation. She’s getting sued. I hope my daughter doesn’t go to jail. Whatever. She’ll serve some time in juvie and get out. She’ll learn her lesson.”

In front of a glittering audience that included Colin Jost, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin, Kenan Thompson, Chloe Fineman, and Fallon, Fallon served as the evening’s host.
In addition a monologue of holiday tunes performed in the vein of Mick Jagger, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, and David Bowie, he opened the evening. Brandi Carlisle, a Grammy-nominated singer, also performed her classics, including “You and Me on the Rock,” with Steve Martin playing banjo in the background.
