Johnny completed 4 of 5 passes for 27 yards in the game, which concluded in a 24-6 loss. Similarly, McCown returned in the 8th Week game against the Arizona Cardinals after suffering another injury.

Manziel was fired from the NFL in early February, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rappaport and ESPN’s Pat McManamon, and Johnny was then investigated for domestic violence.

As a result, despite their “expectations for our players on and off the field,” the Browns fired him on March 11.

Memphis Express

Manziel was arrested for disorderly behavior, failure to show identification, and possession of a false driver’s license on June 29, 2012, when he was 19 years old.
