After going undrafted in the 2016 NBA draft, Josh tried out for the Orlando Magic in the NBA Summer League.
On October 31, 2016, the player signed with the Northern Arizona Suns after a number of fruitful local tryouts, including compensated trials with the Los Angeles D-Fenders and Austin Spurs.
On November 12 against Iowa Energy, Josh made his professional debut and finished the game with 13 points, three rebounds, and three assists in 18 minutes of bench time.
