Micah Sierra Williams known as Katt Williams was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, in the United States on September 2, 1971.

Williams appeared in NYPD Blue in 2002, marking his acting debut. On Wild ‘n Out, where he appeared for numerous seasons, he became well-known. In 2003, he had an appearance in the official music video for “Gigolo” by Wild ‘n Out bandmate Nick Cannon.

Williams was taken into custody at the Los Angeles International Airport on November 13, 2006, when a stolen gun was discovered in his bag. He was sentenced to three years of probation, forced to pay restitution, and granted credit for the three days he spent in jail on December 14, 2006. After pleading no contest to the misdemeanor charge of concealing a handgun.
While making a movie in Coweta County, Georgia, in November 2010, Williams was detained by law enforcement. He was charged with stealing coins and jewelry valued at $3,500. Moreover the next day, after posting a $40,000 bond, he was freed.
