To the amusement of Twitter, Katy Perry was photographed wandering about Westminster Abbey in London in search of her seat for King Charles III’s coronation on Saturday. The image quickly went viral and became a meme.

Perry made jokes about the amusing moment when the video went viral.

Along with British Vogue editor Edward Enninful, Perry, 38, looked stunning in a lavender Vivienne Westwood suit set enhanced with a huge fascinator.
The “Roar” singer, who temporarily left “American Idol” to go to Britain, will take the stage at the coronation concert on Sunday night.
She expressed excitement in a statement last month, saying, “I am excited to be performing at the coronation concert and helping to shine a further light on the British Asian Trust’s Children’s Protection Fund, whose work includes on-ground initiatives to fundraising, with the aim to find solutions to child trafficking.”
Perry and Charles, both 74, first connected at a Mumbai event in 2019 before he named her an ambassador for the British Asian Trust a year later.

To combat poverty in South Asia, the king helped co-found the NGO. The Grammy contender Katy Perry stated last week that while there, she will be staying in some posh accommodations at Windsor Castle.
She said, “I’m incredibly excited,” telling “Extra,” “I might be blogging a lot because I’m actually going to be in a castle. This is crazy.
Perry said that it will be “honor” to commemorate Charles’ coronation, which will take place eight months after the passing of his mother, Queen Elizabeth II, at the age of 96.
“I’m an ambassador to one of his foundations for the British Asian Trust, which primarily focuses on ending child trafficking … and it just aligned with all my values [when] he asked me to sing,” she explained.

According to a March Rolling Stone article, the palace reportedly made overtures to Adele, Elton John, Robbie Williams, and the Spice Girls, but all of them apparently declined.
