Kelly Clarkson teases Brandon Blackstock for not giving her a push present when she gave birth to their babies. She said this is a big red flag moment in a marriage.
Kelly Clarkson taunted ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock for not giving her gifts while they were together. On Friday, she shared on “The Kelly Clarkson Show” that she never received a push present from Brandon. Most husbands give gifts to their wives when they are giving birth to a child. When Brandon Blackstock and Kelly were together, he didn’t give her a present which is completely a red flag for her.
After Kelly Clarkson heard the story from Priyanka Chopra and Carey Hart about their gifts, she realized of not getting a single gift from her then-husband. While chatting with them, Kelly randomly asked what’s the actual meaning of a push gift. Afterward, Priyanka replied by saying that is a special gift for a mother to celebrate the happy moment. Similarly, Chopra stated, “When you have a baby, you should get a gift”.

Likewise, Carey Hart also shared he gifted a motorcycle to his wife, Pink after she gave birth to a baby boy, Jameson in 2016. After hearing from Carey, Kelly joked saying, “She got a motorcycle? Screw you, Pink”. Meanwhile, Clarkson jokingly said she thought a gift was a baby to which all of them laughed. Also, she added,
“I didn’t get a present. Whatever. That should have been a red flag. I honestly don’t know that he knew [what it was]”.

Kelly Clarkson and her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock tied the knot in the year 2013. They have two children together named, River and Remington. Furthermore, after seven years of the marriage Clarkson and Blackstock decided to part ways mutually. After two years, they legally got divorced Although they are not together anymore but are happily co-parenting their kids.

“Clarkson has a great co-parenting relationship with Brandon, but things haven’t always been easy in terms of their personal relationship. However, they’ve come a long way and are handling things with their kids really well.”
In addition, Brandon and Kelly’s divorce was not that easy. The court announces that the custody of two kids will be in Clarkson’s hands and their dad will visit them one weekend a month. Well, it was also decided that Blackstock will have to pay $12,500 a month for rent. Though, he is getting $115,000 a month as spousal support which expires on January 2024.
