Terry Thomas Kevin O’Leary also known as Kevin O’Leary was born on July 9th, 1954 in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Further, O’Leary’s stake in the company was eventually purchased for $25,000 by one of his partners. Again, In a Toronto basement in 1986, O’Leary founded the software company SoftKey.

Following the withdrawal of a major financial backer’s $250,000 commitment, Kevin established the company with his $25,000 SET share money and a $10,000 investment loan from his mother.

Similarly, The company was a publisher and distributor of CD-ROM-based personal computer software for Windows and Macintosh computers.

Besides, After acquiring rival companies such as WordStar and Spinnaker Software, the company developed a number of educational software products and by 1993 had become a major consolidator in the educational software market.
