Cole’s first song was “Never,” which was taken from the “Barbershop 2: Back in Business” soundtrack in 2004. It was then included on her self-titled first album, which was made available on June 21, 2005. The singles “I Changed My Mind,” “(I Just Want It) To Be Over,” “I Should Have Cheated,” and “Love” were all on the album, which peaked at number two on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums list and number six on the “Billboard” 200.
