Khloe Kardashian rejected Tristan Thompson’s marriage proposal in December 2020 as mentioned in the episode “The Kardashian.” On Thursday, Khloe revealed the news with her sister, Kim Kardashian in the episode.
Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson are now separated because of the cheating rumors. But, in the episode of “The Kardashian”, Khloe revealed that she once rejected Tristan’s marriage proposal.
She told this to her sister, Kim Kardashian and the interesting part is she hasn’t told this to anyone in her family till Thursday. On Thursday’s episode, this big news was with the public and family.
Similarly, the reason Khloe rejected the proposal was that she wasn’t ready for the marriage. According to her, she wants to be proud of being with the person and stay as happy as she can. But, with Tristan, she wasn’t sure that was the perfect time for accepting his proposal. As Kim stated,
“The fact that he proposed and you never told us, and I asked him months later.”
And, when Kim asked Thompson about this, he replied.
“Oh, I did it months ago. She didn’t tell you guys?”
Furthermore, Khloe explained the reason why she didn’t tell anyone in her family about this. Likewise, she also said,
“I need to make sure this is a totally different relationship because I want to be proud to say I’m engaged to anyone. And that’s why I said I’m not comfortable accepting this right now because I’m not excited to tell my family.”

“As hurtful as that probably was for him to hear it was the truth. I’m not ever gonna accept something and give someone false hope.”
However, Kim on the other hand says she would have accepted the proposal because she couldn’t reject someone on the face. She told,
“I would’ve said yes to a proposal because I’d just feel so bad.”

Khloe Kardashian and Tristan Thompson began dating in September in the year 2016. Similarly, after dating for months and plenty of PDA, the duo made their relationship official with the public in January 2017. They posted their picture together on Instagram and everyone knew about their relationship.
But, there have been always ups and downs in their relationship because of different issues. The last time they separated was because of the cheating scandals. Tristan cheated on Khloe with Maralee Nichols and impregnate her as well.
Thompson publically accepted the allegations made by Maralee and accept his child publicly. Though he apologizes to Khloe regarding this matter, Khloe gave enough chances to Tristan before too. This time, Kardashian decided not to go back to him anymore.
Moreover, Kardashian and Thompson have a daughter named, True and they also welcomed a baby boy recently on August 5 via surrogacy. Although, they are co-parenting their kids but are not living together.
After knowing that Tristan cheated on her, Khloe decided not to get back with him and live single. Furthermore, she said,
“I don’t know if I’m strong. I’m literally just numb to all this s–t, like how much can people take?”
