Kim Kardashian revealed that her ex-husband Kanye West compared the outfit to a cartoon character Marge Simpson.
Kim Kardashian was said to have a fashion identity crisis after her divorce from Kanye West in the latest episode of “Keeping Up With The Kardashians”.
Kanye West started styling Kim Kardashian when they began dating in 2011. Kanye cleaned out her entire closet at the beginning of their relationship. During a random chat with her sister Kourtney, she mentioned that she is having panic attacks as she could not consult with her ex-husband about what to wear.
“I got to a point where I would just like ask him for advice for everything even down to what I wear ” .”Even now I’m having like panic attacks like, ‘What. Do. I. Wear?'”
She added that Kanye helped to style her Saturday Night Live looks.
After their divorce, it was the time for Kim to decide what to wear for the Wall Street Journal’s Magazine Innovator Awards that was held in October.
Then further she decided to wear a skintight dark brown leather long dress from the Fendi x SKIMS collaboration.
Similarly, she added matching gloves from Tiffany & co jewelry which is a perfect match for the dress. The black zipper from the garment was undone partially to reveal snakeskin boots underneath her dress.

Kanye was apparently not a fan of the outfit Kim wore at the WSJ. Kanye called Kim the other day with his critique.
He mentioned that her career was over…
“He told me my career was over and showed me a picture of Marge Simpson wearing something similar,” the fashion diva revealed, to her sister Kourtney which she didn’t know what to say.
Kim further explained that since her divorce she’s been struggling to discover her own style.
“Fashion has always been something that I’ve always been really into. But I have never been the creative. I definitely see what I like but I have never really been the visionary,” she revealed that Kanye was the one who controlled her closet. “I always just trusted in him, but it is not just about the clothes. That was the last thing we really had in common. I was always the Kardashians with my sisters. Then I was Kimye. Who is Kim K.? That is the jump. How do I get there without Kanye?”
The mother of four also disclosed that Kanye refused to sign their divorce papers at the time. She was telling her sister Kourtney that she didn’t know how she is asking him all the time for a divorce.
Kanye refused to sign the paper saying that he doesn’t want a divorce so he is not signing them.
She added during a confession,
“I’m always super protective of Kanye and not sharing a lot of the negative things that have happened just because he’s not here doing the show. Also, if I do something on a reality show, then its how dare she talk about it and then he can do it in a song and thats so creative and expressive. It’s always, like, two different sides are being expressed two different ways and one is respected and one’s not.”
Nowadays, Kim Kardashian is the one playing fashion, as she recently came under fire for telling current boyfriend Pete Davidson to take off a hat while preparing for the 2022 Met Gala.
