King Charles III in his historic first speech expressed love for younger prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a new monarch begins his reign!
King Charles III expressed profound sorrow and an emotional tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II in his first speech. He also acknowledged the grief his family is going through and they joined together with the world who are also grieving the death of the monarch, who was a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
“We owe her the most heartfelt debt any family could owe to their mother for her love, affection, guidance, understanding and example,”
Charles then continued by saying that the death of Queen Elizabeth is a huge change in the family. He said these in the Blue Drawing room of Buckingham palace. It is the same place where Christmas over the following years.
Charles will be the new king and his position as an heir will be given to William. William will be the Duke of Cornwall and Prince of Wales which the new king announced on Friday.
King Charles then acknowledged Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex, and Meghan Markle. Prince Harry is fifth in line to reign on the throne. While his wife Meghan and children Archie Mountbatten-Winsor and Lilibet Mountbatten Windsor are in the sixth and seventh positions for the throne.
“I want also to express my love for Harry and Meghan as they continue to build their lives overseas,” the king said.

The Duke of Sussex and Duchess live in California with their children.
They were in the UK this week for some charity event. On Thursday, after the news was confirmed Harry traveled to Scotland for mourning the loss of the late queen Elizabeth.
Harry and Meghan, who live in California with their children, have been in the U.K. this week to carry out a series of charity visits. On Thursday, Harry traveled to Scotland to join his family in mourning the loss of his beloved grandmother.
Later prince Harry returned to Windsor on Friday after spending a night. Until the funeral is over, the couple will remain in the UK.
Meghan did not join Harry in Scotland because she was committed to the charity in London. Harry was supposed to give a speech at the event but it got canceled due to the death of his grandmother on Thursday.

Markle had an interview in August with New York magazine. She mentioned the relationship between prince Harry and his estranged father saying, ‘I lost my dad in this process,’”. Markle referenced this statement to the couple’s decision to have a separate life in the US and give up their Royal life.
In the interview, the couple gave in 2021 with Oprah Winfrey. Harry said that his father stooped talking to him about exiting the Royal life. Now, after the death of Queen Elizabeth, the new king is pretty emotional about it.
“We owe her the most heartfelt debt any family could owe to their mother for her love, affection, guidance, understanding, and example,” Charles said of his late mother Friday. “Queen Elizabeth’s was a life well-lived, a promise that destiny kept, and she is mourned most deeply in her passing. That promise of lifelong service I renew to all today.”
He said that his family owe a pretty well debt for the love, affection, understanding, and principles he could inherit from his mother.
Charles also said that she live a good life and it was destiny that made her apart from all the commitments. He also promised that he is going to give a lifetime of service from today onwards(as an oath).
Charles gave a long speech about his late mother and her contribution to the world. His dedication and devotion to her duty as monarch were commendable.
