Landry played in 30 games as a freshman and continued to have the same role and results as a rookie in his sophomore season.

In 33 games as a junior, Landry faced some tough competition and contributed to his team’s many triumphs.

For his great senior year, Fields received the Pac-10 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, USBWA All-District IX Team, and first-team All-Pac-10 honors.

Landry entered the 2010 NBA draft after exhausting his college eligibility and began playing professionally.

NBA Career

Landry Fields started his career as a professional basketball player after the New York Knicks selected him with the 39th overall pick in the 2010 NBA Draft.

In July 2010, Landry signed a two-year contract with the Knicks.

Field displayed his extraordinary basketball talent and won the Eastern Conference’s Rookie of the Month award for November and December.

When he started playing again in 2011, he defeated the Philadelphia 76ers and was named to the NBA All-Rookie first team.

Landry was chosen to represent Team Shaq as well, and he competed for the New York team that won the Shooting Stars tournament.

In 2012, after his contract with the Knicks expired, Landry agreed to a three-year, $20 million agreement with the Toronto Raptors.

Due to a significant injury that kept him out of most of the games in his final season with the Raptors, it was difficult for Landry.

Accidents & Retirement

After many injuries, ulnar nerve restoration surgeries, and ongoing rehabilitation over the Raptors’ seasons, Landry was forced to adopt a new shooting form.

Landry also had to have multiple surgeries for a hip labral tear after becoming a free agent in 2015, which let him miss the whole 2015–16 campaign.

After being hired as a college scout by the San Antonio Spurs in 2016, he made his retirement from basketball official.

He was promoted to General Manager of the Spurs G League franchise after serving as a volunteer college scout for three seasons.

Job in Television

Landry made a cameo in the 2011 film “Andry and Landry.” While touring New York City, he and his teammate went on speed dates.

However, the program was discontinued in 2012.

During “Sing Your Face Off,” Landry Fields

Field, a former basketball player, sought to demonstrate to his admirers in 2014 that he was more than just a terrific basketball player. He was a performer as well.

The show premiered on May 31st, 2014, although it only lasted a few months before ending in June.
