Leonardo Martin Mayer is an Argentine former professional tennis player. Mayer reached a career-high singles ranking of world No. 21 in June 2015 and a career-high doubles ranking of world No. 48 in January 2019.

 Early Life, Parents, Family

Leonardo Mayer, Argentina’s well-known player, was born on May 15, 1987, in Corrientes, Argentina, to Orlando Mayer, a former banker.

Similarly, Estela, his mother, used to be a teacher. He was raised with his three siblings, Gabriel, Walter, and Veronica, by his mother. Leonardo was also known as Leo by his friends and family back then.

Professional Life

Before anything else, Leonardo began playing tennis at the age of nine. Meanwhile, Mayor won the 2005 French Open Boys’ Doubles and the Orange Bowl with Emiliano Massa as a junior.

As a result, they climbed to No. 2 in the combined world rankings in 2005.

As a result, at the age of eighteen, he competed in the French Open Tennis Championships.
