Letitia Wright wore the same outfit as Chadwick Boseman carried at the 2018 Academy Awards. She honored her friend at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever by doing the “Wakanda Forever” signature pose.
Letitia Wright shows her appearance at the premiere of Black Panther: Wakanda Forever on Wednesday night. She honored her friend Chadwick Boseman who died in August 2020 due to colon cancer. The premiere was held at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.
Similarly, Letitia walked on the red carpet wearing a black Alexander McQueen suit from the spring summer 2023 pre-collection. Likewise, the back crystals down her shoulders represent Boseman’s outfit back in the 2018 Academy awards.
Chadwick Boseman wore a Givenchy Couture suit with a back crystal harness at the Academy awards before. Honoring her friend in the premiere, Letitia also gave her signature “Wakanda Forever” pose by crossing her two arms in the chest.
She also wore glittering diamond earrings along with an extensive cocktail ring and a bracelet. Meanwhile, she also paired up her outfit with matching black shoes with a block heel.
Talking more about Chadwick, he died in the year 2020 as he was suffering from colon cancer for four years. He played the role of lead King T’Challa in 2018’s blockbuster, Black Panther. Seeing Letitia Wright’s outfit many fans and followers couldn’t take their eyes off. They were shocked as well as happy.
In addition, one fan wrote, “This kinda f—ed me up a little”. Not only this, but he also put the picture of Wright and Boseman together where they both are doing the signature pose.

Letitia played the role of T’Challa’s sister, Shuri on the “Wakanda Forever”. In the trailer of the movie, many people assumed things like she is playing the role of Black Panther herself. on off-screen too, Wright thinks that Chadwick is like a sibling to her. Further, she also stated,
“Chad will follow me everywhere I go, he’s my brother [and] he will be with me forever.”
When fans asked Letitia about the new Black Panther, she replied,
“You can expect a lot in the sequel. It’s jam-packed… it’s a lot of fun, adventure, and surprises.”

Letitia Wright and Chadwick Boseman were so close to each other. After the death of Boseman, Wright couldn’t hold herself as she lost his sibling who was very protective as well. And, she stated,
“Dark clouds surrounding confusion sets in. Tears flowing, and rivers are so deep. I didn’t know this is what I was waking up to: my brother, an angel on earth, departed. A soul so beautiful, when you walked into the room, there was calm. You always moved with grace and ease. Every time I saw you, the world would be a better place.”

Wright also shared that Chadwick motivates her to the lowest even when he is not physically here. She shared that she used to hear voices from him which motivate her to work. Moreover, Letitia stated,
“I will always have moments on the set of doubt, and I’ll be like, ‘Oh man, I don’t know if I can do this.’ I could just hear [Boseman] be like, ‘Sister, you’re great. You got this. I’m proud of you.’ That really just kept me moving forward.”

Even though Chadwick Boseman is not here, everyone including the directors and his co-stars has worked hard for the second movie for honoring his legacy. “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” will be in cinemas on November 11, 2022.
